Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Essential Functions:

1.   Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

2. Managing the receiving of all inbound raw materials, packages, etc.

3. Managing the shipments of outbound products to our customers.

4. Communicating with customers as to when their shipments will be ready for shipment.

5. Being able to understand our internal production calculator to assist in projections for future shipments.

6. Quality assurance on built pallets. Making sure pallets are wrapped tightly, labeled correctly, and are undamaged.

7. Organizing the warehouse in an efficient manner to maximize space and storage. This includes pallets built from each shift, each day.

8. Coordinating the pickup of scrap and recycling.

9. Communicating with accounting when shipments and packages are received in and if there is anything wrong.

10. Working closely with the production manager to make sure production priorities are correct to help outbound shipments be completed on time.

11. Being able to understand and navigate our database to input raw material information and record other information from production records. 

Required Education and Experience:

1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

2. Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.

3. Ability to stand for a short period of time, bend over, push-pull overhead, and lift the max of 55 lbs.

4. Ability to work with others and communicate effectively.

5. Forklift certification is required.

6. Must be comfortable with using Microsoft Suite. (Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.)

7. At least one year minimum of Shipping and Receiving experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Blow Mold Line Operator -Job Description

Essential Functions:

1. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

2. Inspect finished product for any quality issues as trained to.

3. Packing quality products.

4. Handling raw materials for the build from start to finish. Ex. Resin, cardboard boxes, etc.

5. Being aware of surrounding equipment and production line operations.

6. Report any product quality issues or unusual operations to the supervisor immediately.

7. Record quality product information onto a batch record.

8. Place labels and product markers correctly and in a neat matter.

9. Job performance is measured by safety, overall quality, attitude, attendance, and ability to work as an essential team member.

Required Education and Experience:

1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

2. Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.

Plastic Extrusion Mechanic/Industrial Equipment Technician - Job Description

Essential Functions:

1.  Maintaining a clean and safe plant environment.

2. Maintaining the operating conditions and preventative maintenance of the blow molding machinery.

3. Repair and/or replace broken or faulty components of the machinery.

4. Disassemble and reassemble the machinery to complete repairs.

5. Examine the condition of parts for wear and tear.

6. Analyze machine error messages and have knowledge on how to find the cause of the error.

7. Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts on all machinery and equipment including conveyor belts, grinders, and spin trimmers.

8. Able to complete mold changes and adjustments needed from start to finish.

9. Record repairs and maintenance performed.

10. Record parts or materials used and work with purchasing to order backups or parts needed that are not in stock.

11. Study manuals to determine the correct operation of machinery.

12. Enter codes and follow instructions to program computer-controlled machines.

13. Demonstrate equipment functions and easy fixes on common malfunctions to shift leads so they can lead a shift confidently without shutdown.

14. Communicate with other technicians, leads, and production manager to prepare for extended periods of down time.

15. Understanding of time management and urgency in the manufacturing environment.

16. Willing to learn new processes and share new ides to improve operations with upper management.

17.  Willing to learn machine shop functions- refer to the Tool Maker job description. 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

1.  At least 3-5 years of mechanical work on industrial machinery.

2. Able to apply mathematical concepts.

3. Able to find information not readily available, including reading and understanding user manuals.

4. Have knowledge and skills in all Microsoft applications.

5. Have a keen attention to details.

6. Possess excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.

7. Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate down time schedules.

8. Must communicate effectively in writing and speaking, English is mandatory.

9. Possess the physical stamina to lift heavy equipment, bend over, stand frequently, and climb on top of machines.

10. Always convey a professional attitude.


Plastic Extrusion Mechanic – Tool Maker - Job Description

2. Operate Standard shop equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, precision machinery, etc.

3. Efficient understanding of blow molding machinery and how to repair it.

4. Being able to diagnose and implement corrective action to old and new tools.

5. Understanding of specification drawings and how to read and follow them.

6. Knowledge of molds and how to repair them.

7. Can perform daily preventative maintenance on all tools and machinery.

8. Can assist in ordering parts needed and keeping track of inventory.

9. Have a strong understanding of what the Industrial Equipment technician does and can help complete their duties when required.

10. Understanding of time management and urgency in the manufacturing environment.

11. Willing to learn new processes and share new ides to improve operations with upper management.
